Unlocking Radiance with Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are a breakthrough in aesthetic treatments, offering a non-surgical solution to rejuvenate and enhance the skin. Comprising hydrating substances like hyaluronic acid, these injections work beneath the surface to nourish, hydrate, and revitalise your skin. I specialise in delivering skin booster injections in North London, tailored to address your specific concerns and refresh your appearance. We exclusively use leading brands Profhilo and Sunekos, meaning we can guarantee quality and efficacy in every treatment.

Profhilo: Profhilo contains high levels of hyaluronic acid, which hydrates skin and boosts collagen for a firmer, smoother complexion. By stimulating collagen and elastin production, Profhilo restores firmness and elasticity, resulting in a smoother complexion.

Sunekos: Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with a unique blend of amino acids to stimulate fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen and elastin production. This revolutionary approach not only restores volume and hydration but also improves skin texture and elasticity.

How Skin Boosters Work

The magic lies in the deep hydration these boosters provide. By replenishing the skin's moisture reservoirs, they stimulate collagen production, resulting in improved skin elasticity and a reduction in fine lines. The result is a radiant, youthful complexion that exudes vitality.

FAQ

A. Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve skin hydration, texture, and elasticity with an immediate tightening effect. They contain hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts and retains water, providing deep hydration and stimulating collagen and elastin production.

A. Both Profhilo and Sunekos are skin boosters that contain hyaluronic acid, but they have some key differences:

Profhilo: Contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid and uses a unique injection technique (5-point facelift) to deliver the product across a wider area with fewer injections. It is primarily used for improving skin laxity and hydration.

Sunekos: Combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids, which are the building blocks of collagen and elastin. It is designed to improve skin texture, fine lines, and wrinkles, as well as stimulate collagen and elastin production.

A. Skin boosters can be used on various areas of the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. They are particularly effective in treating areas prone to dryness, fine lines, and loss of elasticity. Sunekos can additionally be used to improve the under-eye area to target darkness, fine lines and wrinkles.

A. Profhilo- The initial treatment protocol typically involves two sessions spaced 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 4-6 months, depending on individual needs

Sunekos- The initial treatment protocol typically involves 3 sessions spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 4-6 months, depending on individual needs.

A. Most patients find the injections tolerable. A topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand to minimise discomfort.

A. In general the downtime is minimal with mild and temporary side effects including:

  • Slight redness, swelling, tenderness at the injection site.
  • Occasional bruising.

Profhilo- You will be left with small lumps at the injection site that will reduce and fade over the next 24 hours. They are often unnoticeable.

Sunekos- If the undereye area has been treated you will be left with some undereye puffiness (where the product has been placed) that will reduce over the next 12-24 hours.

A. Skin boosters may not be suitable for:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  • Individuals with active skin infections or inflammation.
  • People with known allergies to hyaluronic acid.

The cost of skin boosters varies depending on the product used and the clinic it is administered. Take a look at our pricing for our Grange Park clinic here.

A. Skin boosters are a lovely treatment on their own or they can be safely combined with other aesthetic treatments, such as anti-wrinkle injections.
